Flowcharts and Gantt Charts

Story boards and Concept maps are useful uses of
paper and pen.

They are roughs , and doodles , of your thinking
processes, they are also ideal modeling tools for
large scale projects.

Go to Mrs. Dobbs class room at , click on some of the
examples,
describe what you see.
Each of you should produce at least one detailed
concept map with some evidence of editing and revision.

You may use any model , from my examples , or from
the internet including Mrs.Dobb's

    1. I will expect everyone to commit to one of the topics in section 2.1 (or see me with a different Topic) in the other column.
    2. Please post a brief statement about what you want to do to the Weblog as well

Week 4

(using the handout sheets on Director we worked through some of the features)

See me (Peter Thomas) for a copy of this handout. Not available on the Web yet.

Week 5

More Director

Week 6

Premiere

Week 7

Premiere

Week 8

Premiere

Now all Plans should be posted onto your Weblog. This will be the place for all Assessment tasks unless I make specific arrangements with you.

If you have hand drawn planning/concept maps/story boards then you have 2 options

1. Make a copy and give me the copies as evidence

2. Scan your work and uploaded it to your Weblog

Working with Premiere

All students will have access to a camera for the recording of Digital Video.

Experience shows us that the duration times should be smaller.

So less is better.

This weeks class will be on Editing a small video file as part of the Minor Assessments .

Depending on file size will will also upload this to the Weblog as a downloadable link.

That is we will have a link to the video file that will have to be downloaded to be played on a computer. It will not ply from your Weblog in WebCT

Special Note

Due to the nature of the Software involved and the confusion around classes and times I will be easier on due dates than previously indicated.
