When two lines intersect each other angles are formed. Angles are used in design work, architecture, building construction, astronomy, telling the time and art.   Angles can be named in many ways.           Protractors are used to measure angles.

 

Examples

 

Angle sizes range from greater than 0° to 360°. The six main angles are:	Diagram	Properties
acute		less than 90°
right		90°
obtuse		between 90° and 180°
straight		180°
reflex		between 180° and 360°
revolution		360°
