Online Tutorial

The MCA online Live Tutorial facility offers teachers and students to interact in real time using a Java based conferencing client. This conference uses only text based chat, so its' real application in solving maths problems online is fairly limited. This mode of interaction is likely to become more useful when full electronic whiteboard facilities are implemented.

Follow these steps to take part in online chat:

Step 1:. Go to MCA Online Tutorial page and click on Join Live Tutorial.
[The following window will open up in your browser. You may have to wait for a few seconds.]

Step 2: Type your name in the "Please enter a nickname to participate" field and press Enter key.

Step 3: Type #mathschat in the "Enter New Room" field and click on Change Room button.

Step 4: Start typing your message in the window next to coloured numbers and hit enter key. Your message will be posted on the conference window in the middle.
