Graphing and Break Even Analysis

Plot on a graph the equation of the line Y = 6X - 3 (Plot 3 ordered pairs)

Solve the following simultaneous equations graphically (Use graph paper)

The cost of manufacturing dryers is partly fixed and varies partly as the number of dryers produced (ie. it is linear).  The dryers are sold at $200 each.  When 50 dryers are produced the total cost is $12 000 and when 250 dryers are produced the total cost is $44 000
(a)  graphically represent the relationship between the cost of production and the number of dryers produced (ie. sketch the cost line)
(b)  find the variable cost per dryer
(c)  find the fixed cost
(d)  state the total cost equation
(e)  state the income equation
(f)  sketch the income graph
(g)  how many dryers should be produced and sold to break even?
(h)  what is the profit/loss on 250 dryers?
